A new feature to home assistant is the ability to do stats on the variables it gathers. I setup a thermometer outdoors, and setup the card to capture this data, and do the last 30 days average outdoors temperature.

Seeing the number above, this doesn't account for the variability of the value. For reference, the 1971-2000 climate value around -8.1ºC with a σ of 2.3ºC — so a 3σ bound would be around -1.2ºC.
So yes, it's out of bound statistically compared to the climate; but I'll wait to get judgement on this years impact of both the 3x la Niña and #polarvortex shenanigans.
