Ya. Daffodils/narcissus. Just about the only thing that I've planted that doesn't die off. Daylilies are resilient too, they'd pop up in places where I'd moved a mound of dirt.
Some of these were the previous owners. The local deer do a number on many of the plants, regardless of the deer resistant marketing. Later, the lupins will be out, and above there are some wild rose bushes.
I’ll give that suggestion to the head gardener—being not me. 😂
If you are blessed with deer, daylilies are likely to be on the menu. There was a spot behind my house where a colony of daylilies had established themselves where I'd moved some soil. I dug a bunch of them and gave them away a few years running and still they thrived. Then I expanded the llama grounds to include that area. The llamas ate them.
