It sounds like it was pretty hairy in Montreal, but in my back yard, it wasn't enough to even bend the birches, and it all melted off by nightfall.

ahh, that time of year when your doors freeze shut, brilliant. I'm hoping we're past that here, but our first such occurrence of the season (back in November) I believe damaged my passenger window's mechanism. Curse rimless doors!
